I am standing for Councillor and Mayor of the Northern Midlands because I believe our community deserves a Council that listens, works together, manages ratepayer funds responsibly and delivers results.
The Northern Midlands is my home. I was born and raised here, and this community has shaped everything I am. That deep connection to this place — its people, its land, its future — is why I am putting my hand up to serve as your Councillor and Mayor.
Over more than 12 years as CEO of multimillion-dollar organisations, I have led teams through complex challenges, turned struggling organisations into thriving ones, and always kept the people I serve at the centre of every decision.
I bring senior local government leadership experience from both Tasmania and Victoria, combined with a Master's in Environmental Management and a Postgraduate qualification in Land Use Planning. I am a graduate of the Australian Rural Leadership Program and the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
My background spans farming, business, tourism, and planning — giving me a practical, grounded understanding of what our community needs. I am not a career politician. I am a neighbour, a community member, and someone who genuinely cares about the Northern Midlands.
